Two MiG-21 LanceR of the 86th Air Base Fetesti are participating in ELITE 2007 exercise developed between June 14 and 28, in Germany.

The Romanian military pilots will train together with the aviators from other 17 European states in missions in a hostile electromagnetic environment.

This is the Romanian Air Force first technical military participation in an electronic war outside the borders, since in 2006 in the same exercise they participated only as observers.
