Minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu and a military delegation will have an official visit in the Kingdom of Sweden between June 28 and 29, invited by the Swedish Minister of Defense, Mikael Odenberg.

The bilateral talks will be focused on the dynamics of the European Policy of Security and Defense (PESA) and the EU defense capability, the EU Tactical Combat Groups, the EU operations and the relations with the partners.

During the talks they will also approach the security issues on the international agenda, the participation in the campaign against terrorism and the present situation in the theaters of operations, the process of transformation of the Romanian Armed Forces and the Romanian Swedish military cooperation.
