Chief of the Romanian General Staff, Admiral Ph.D. Gheorghe Marin will be in official visit between July 2 and 4, in Poland, invited by General Franciszek Gagor, chief of Polish General Staff.

The two military officials' talks will focus the process of reform, modernization and transformation of the Romanian and Polish Armed Forces and the endowment programs; the two countries' participation in international operations, now and in future; the offer of forces for NATO and the European Union. They will also have an exchange of opinions on the air police missions for the Baltic countries and will try to identify new areas of bilateral cooperation.

The program will also comprise a receive by the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Aleksander Szczyglo, a lay of wreaths at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier and the visit to military facilities in Warsaw and Krakow.
