Deputy Minister of the National Defense Ministry of the Hellenic Republic, Vasilios Michaloliakos will be in official visit in Romania, between July 10 and 12, invited by the State Secretary and chief of Department for Policy of Defense and Planning, Corneliu Dobritoiu.

The talks will be focused on mutual interest issues: the security in the Balkans and the enlarged Black Sea region, the operationalization of the EU Combat Group HELBROC (Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, and Cyprus), the transformation of the North Atlantic Alliance and the NATO Summit agenda for the next year.

The two dignitaries will also have talks on the Romanian and Greek contribution to international operations, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Romanian Greek military cooperation.

Tuesday, July 10, at 1 p.m. the two officials will have a press statement at the MoD HQ.
