The military aviators are celebrating Friday, July 20, the Day of the Romanian Air Force protected by Saint Prophet Ilie Tesviteanu.

At the Monument of the Heroes of the Air, in Bucharest, a military and religious ceremony will start at 9 a.m. and a formation of nine IAR 330 SOCAT helicopters from the 90th Air Transport Base, will fly over Bulevardul Aviatorilor from Palatul Victoria towards Piata Presei Libere. The festivity will continue at the Museum of Aviation (strada Fabrica de glucoza, nr. 2-4, sector 2) where at 10.30 a.m. they are organizing a symposium on Air Force at the beginning of the 3rd millennium. The access in the Museum, between 14.00 and 17.00 hours, is free.

Romanian and foreign guests, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Associations of Veterans and local administration, and military are invited to participate in this ceremony.
