A military truck of the 35th Radiolocation Company Schitu was involved Tuesday, August 7, around 6.30 a.m. in an accident near Constanta. In the accident a military died, one was wounded and the transportation facility was damaged.

The truck was planned to have Schitu-Fetesti route and between Constanta and Valul lui Traian it stroke from the back a heavy truck stationed outside the way. After the impact, NCO Crivan Alex died and the driver Caporal Iacob Ion was severely wounded and transported to Constanta County Emergency Hospital.

The case is investigated by Constanta Police. A commission ordered by the commander of the Principal Air Operational Command will investigate the circumstances of the accident.

The Ministry of Defense is full time in contact with Constanta Emergency Hospital monitorizing the state of the wounded person and in the same time expresses the compassion for the NCO's family.
