Senior Sergeant Ionel Dorinel Berchetaru from the 33rd Mountain Battalion, wounded on August 1, in the Afghani theater of operation was repatriated today, August 7 from Landstudl hospital of the US Ramstein base (Germany).

The military is now in the Military Emergency Hospital Carol Davila in Bucharest for a post surgery program.

Senior Sergeant Ionel Sorinel Berchetaru suffered an operation in Qalat hospital in August 1, in the night and afterwards was transported in Germany for special treatment and recovery in Landstudl hospital.
