A symposium on 105 years since the first anniversary of the Day of the Romanian Navy will occur Wednesday, August 8, at 10 a.m. at the Military National Cercle in Bucharest, in the context of celebrations dedicated to the Day of the Romanian Navy.

The transformation of the Navy into a modern structure of the Romanian Armed Forces and NATO, Considerations on Navy's international relations in the last year, Training at NATO standards, The Navy Staff strategy on modernization and endowment with ships and combat techniques and Naval League, continuator of Romanian Navy traditions are the topics to be approached during the symposium.

Guests in this activity are the representatives of the MoD leadership, representatives of the Romanian Naval League, military and civilians from the Navy Staff.

The participants will visit a paint exhibition and a book exhibition on the sailing themes. The Artistic Assembly Doina of the Romanian Armed Forces and the Band of the Navy will have an artistic program.
