The Romanian Navy is organizing between August 11 and 15 a wide range of celebrations for the Day of the Romanian Navy.

The program of celebrations, this year, the 105th celebration on Saint Mary's Day, the patron of the Romanian Navy, consists in military and religious ceremonies, lays of wreaths at the representative monuments, demonstrative exercises, maritime plays, artistic shows and fire cracks in the main maritime and river bays.

In the manifestations occurring in garrisons where there are units of the Navy will participate the representatives of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Transportation, Romanian Orthodox Church, public administration, local and central, NGOs, veterans, military in reserve and retreat and the large public.
