The festivity of the end of the Scouts Camp, the 4th edition, organized by the Ministry of Defense in partnership with the National Authority for the Young People, occurred today, August 12, at Nicolae Balcescu Army Academy HQ in Sibiu.

The activity was developed in the presence of the chief of Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Colonel Ph.D. Ion Petrescu and Colonel Ph.D. Benone Sfarlog, pro-rector of the Army Academy.

For eight days, the scouts had the opportunity to increase their knowledge about the Romanian Armed Forces and NATO, to find out the characteristics of the Army's equipment and to strengthen their character, the team spirit and the spirit of competition by military training.

As Colonel Ion Petrescu stated, this Camp is one of the possibilities of knowing the Army from inside, and in the same time is the opportunity in choosing the military career.

The festivity ended with a special moment: handing the diplomas of participation and for the effort in the sport competitions (football, basketball, volley and swimming) by the two trainers, Lieutenant Virgil Nicolau- commander of Search Platoon within the 2nd Infantry Battalion Calugareni and NCO Mioara Cioran- from the Academy's Section of Education.
