Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu, participated today, August 13, in the ceremony of setting Colonel Mihail Ciuperceanu into position as chief of Internal Audit Directorate, at this institution's headquarter, in Bucharest.

This Directorate has an essential role in the MoD activity together with other organizations with control and inspection attributions in the armed forces. The Internal Audit Directorate is the essential tool for the fundamentation of the decisions the MoD leaders could take stated Minister Teodor Melescanu.

Colonel Mihail Ciuperceanu underlined, as his turn, he will focus his efforts on the strict observance of legality in fulfilling the aims the Internal Audit Directorate has within the Ministry of Defense.


Career officer, Colonel Mihail Ciuperceanu worked in the last period of time in the Body of Control and Inspection of the Ministry of Defense.
Before the appointment as chief of the Internal Audit Directorate, Colonel Mihail Ciuperceanu held leading positions in the General Defense Intelligence Directorate.
