Wednesday, August 15, at 9.30 a.m. in Oituz will occur the following activities enlisted the celebration of 90 years since the heroic combats in Marasesti, Marasti and Oituz, in 1917:

- symbolic reconstruction of the Mountain Troops march, the who in August 1916 went to war singing Treceti batalioane romane Carpatii!
- military and religious ceremony at the Graveyard of Heroes in Oituz (10.30 a.m.) and Graveyard of Heroes in Poiana Sarata (12 a.m.);
- lay of wreaths at the Monument of Lieutenant Constantin Macarie, the first Romanian military who died for the freedom of Transylvania in the night 14/15 August 1916.

The military of the 2nd Mountain Brigade Sarmizegetusa, the military band of Focsani garrison, and representatives of the local administration are invited to participate in the event.
