The Day of the Romanian Navy will be celebrated in Bucharest garrison, too, Wednesday, August 15, starting 9.30 a.m. at the central landing place on Herastrau Lake.

The program of ceremony consists in a religious ceremony in the memory of the sailor heroes, the blessing of an anchor made of flowers that will be launched on water, speeches of representatives of the Ministry of Defense and local administration, trip by little ships on the Lake, traditional sailors' games and a concert of the Military Bands.

Military on duty and in reserve, representatives of the local public administration are invited to participate in this celebration.
