A military Chinese delegation headed by Vice-Admiral ShiPing Tong, deputy chief of General Department of Policy of the Chinese Popular Army of Liberation will have a visit in Romania, between August 16 and 18.

At the Army Staff HQ, Lieutenant General Ph.D. Teodor Frunzeti appreciated the excellent bilateral cooperation and presented different aspects on the stage and perspective of the process of transformation, the modernization of the structures of personnel and the military education within the Romanian Army.

Many of the aspects of the process of restructuration of the Romanian Armed Forces and Romanian Army are of an important value that worth to be followed. In the future we want to increase the cooperation between the two armed forces and structures stated the chief of the Chinese military delegation, Vice-Admiral ShiPing Tong.

The military Chinese delegation was received today at the MoD HQ by the Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu and the director of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Mihail Orzeata; the delegation also visited the National Center of Military Management.
