The military Romanian-French cooperation presents new evolutions in public relations area, too. Chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Colonel Ph.D. Ion Petrescu had today, August 23, a dialogue with the French military attache, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Lignee.

They reviewed the new public relations approaches made by the two armed forces specialized structures. Chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations presented the main aspects of the project of improvement of internal communication within the Romanian Armed Forces. This will also imply an improvement of the external communication, too, by spreading the military publications in the public circuit and the French expertise in this area is a reference.

The French defense attache stated that a future dialogue between Romanian and French military experts, in Paris, on the strategies of modern communication and editorial formulas more attractive in the military press, is an adequate framework for an exchange of benefic expertise for both parts.

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Lignee also remarked the new form of www.mapn.ro site and appreciated that the Directorate is now using an offensive style, for correct information, in time and continuously, of those who are interested in the military issues.
