The opening of the exhibition European Memory- Images of the Romania-French Friendship in the time of the big War will occur Wednesday, August 29, at 3 p.m. in the Art Gallery of the National Military Cercle.

The event is developed for the 90th celebration since the Marasesti, Marasti and Oituz battles and is organized by the Institute for Political Studies of Defense and Military History in cooperation with Press de l'Europe Centrale et Orientale Association and Radio France International.

The movie Le Pain et le Sel dedicated to the French Military Mission in Romania during the First World War will be watched during the event.

The exhibition will be closed in August 31, 2007.
