The new commander of the Multinational Division South East, Major General Graham Binns visited Monday, August 27, the Romanian DRACULA Camp in the multinational military base in Tallil, Iraq.

The meeting with the Romanian military occurred only after few days since the appointment of the British General at command of the Multinational Division South East, the group of forces the Romanian 32nd Infantry Battalion Mircea belongs, too.

During the visit, the commander of the Infantrymen from Timisoara, Lieutenant Colonel Cristian Dinulica presented to General Binns the structure, capability, endowment, area of responsibility and the missions performed by the Romanians in the two Provinces: Dhi Qar and Al Muthanna.

During the meeting with the Battalion, the commander of the Multinational Division South East declared that the Romanian troops have a good image among the Iraqi population and this is important for the Division he is commanding.

General Binns expressed his trust in professionalism, devotion and ability of Romanians and stressed upon the special importance of the missions performed by the yellow scorpions for the Coalition.
