The Ministry of Defense, the National Office for the Worship of the Heroes and the Ministry of Internals and Administrative Reform will develop in Bucharest, Thursday, August 30, two ceremonies dedicated to the celebration of 63 years since the battles of August 1944.

Thus, a commemorative plate dedicated to the Romanian soldiers who died in the battles for the defend of the Capital will be unveiled at 9 a.m. at Podul Miorita and at 10 a.m. at the cross DN 1 and Aleea Privighetorilor (near the Police Academy) the lot of honor will be inaugurated for the re-burial of the heroes who died in this region 63 years ago.
