The Romanian-Hungarian military cooperation presents new evolutions in public relations, too. Chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Colonel Ph.D. Ion Petrescu, had today, August 30, a dialogue with the Hungarian military attache, Lieutenant Colonel Tamas Kisvari.

Chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations offered the details on the main aspects of the project for the improvement of internal communication within the Romanian armed forces. This project can be performed by the improvement of external communication, too. In this respect, Colonel Ph.D. Ion Petrescu thanked Lieutenant Colonel Tamas Kisvari for his consistency in sending the Hungarian Defence Mirror, printed in English by the Hungarian MoD.

Chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations offered to the military attache a Diploma of Excellency for his contribution in creation of a data base that led to the issue of a new product of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, i.e. The Military Observer. Lieutenant Colonel Kisvari appreciated the quality of the Romanian monthly military publication, printed in English, and considered the two publications as sisters, contributing in the finding out of the process of transformation of the two allied armed forces.

The Hungarian military diplomat received with interest the suggestions the chief of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations made for the increase of the military bilateral relations in public relations and military press areas. The suggestions also aimed the constant exchange of publications and documentaries showing the stages of modernization within the two military bodies.

They also appreciated that the military bilateral relations can benefit of a modern publicity for promotion of a correct image of the exemplary cooperation between the Romanian and Hungarian military bodies.
