The military of the Army intervened today, September 6, with their equipment, in Tecuci, Galati County, for the support of the suffering population from calamity and limit the effects of the floods.

The 45 military from the 300th Infantry Battalion from Galati are acting even now for the evacuation of the suffering population and support of local authorities in distribution of water and food.


The military also supported the sub-units of the National Inspectorate for Emergency States in Tecuci and Munteni and Berheci. The armed forces also helped the Police teams to get rid of the ways of communications.

At the Defense Minister order, the detachments of the Army with their equipment are ready in their garrisons to act in the calamity-stricken areas at the local and central authority's request.
