Lieutenant Colonel Dorin Petrut from the NATO Training Mission Iraq was transported to Landstudl hospital in Ramstein US Military Base, Germany for a medical operation today, on his left limb.

The officer was wounded on the left limb, Tuesday, September 11, during a missile attack against Camp Victory, near Baghdad (Iraq).

In the same hospital in Germany is NCO Alex Octavian Zafiu from the 33rd Mountain Battalion who suffered wounds on superior and inferior limbs and cervical lesions, in Afghanistan on September 6, 2007.

Lieutenant Gheorghe Ottobac, chief doctor of the Romanian Battalion deployed in Afghanistan is together with the two military and permanently over-watches their state of health and is in contact with the ministry of defense and their families.
