NATO Medal for a Romanian officer

Lieutenant Colonel Dorin Petrut received NATO AWARD FOR NON-ART. 5 OPERATIONS Medal and Diploma, last week from Major General Alessandro Pompegnani, deputy commander of NATO Training Mission Iraq.


Lieutenant Colonel Dorin Petrut was wounded on his left limb, September 11, in a missile attack against Camp Victory, near Baghdad. The Romanian officer worked in the command of NATO Training Mission Iraq. He was transported to the military hospital near Bagdad and suffered an operation and now has a special device and is in gypsum.

Now, Lieutenant Colonel Dorin Petrut is in Germany in the military hospital, Ramstein base, for special treatment and investigations. His state of health is satisfactory.
