Dr. Eng. Gheorghe Matache, State Secretary and chief of Department for Armament will pay a working visit in Switzerland between March 26 and 28, 03 invited by Alfred Markwalder, his counterpart.

The two officials will have an exchange of information on the endowment structures of the Federal Ministry of Defense from Switzerland and the Ministry of National Defense from Romania. The discussions will also be focused on cooperation in research and development, military equipment, improvement of endowment proceedings and management of worn or in excess armament. The Romanian State Secretary will visit some Swiss defense industrial units. This occasion new military equipment will be showed up.

Mr. Matache will officially invite the Swiss part to participate to EXPOMIL international military show and to ICOMIL international seminary developed in Bucharest in November 2003.
