For the first time since in the military calendar there is inscribed, the Day of Military Public Relations was marked today, October 30, at the MoD HQ during the festivity with the participation of the leaders of the Parliament Liaison and Public Information Department, PR staff, military journalists and commanders of big units and units.

The military specialists in Information and Public Relations consider October 30 as a moment of their performances remembrance and the configuration of present potential and directions of action.

They presented the main landmarks of the history of this military specialty, the running on projects and the intention of establishment of a radio broadcast promoting the military career among the young people.

After the presentation of an information on the main activity of the PR specialists in NATO commands, theaters of operations and international exercises, Colonel Ph.D. Ion Petrescu, chief of the Information and Public Relations Directorate underlined that the success of this year activity owes to the devotion to the professional duties of the present team of the Information and Public Relations Directorate.

The Public Relations military structure was and still is a landmark in the institutional communication, due to the seriousness, professionalism and capacity of permanent adaptation to the informational society's requirement.
