Minister of Defense, Teodor Melescanu, congratulated today, October 30, in the ceremony occurred at the MoD HQ, the Generals and Colonels recently appointed in ranks.

This occasion, they red-on the Presidential Decrees on the appointment in rank of Major Generals of the Brigade Generals, thus:
- Ilie Botos chief of Legislation and Juridical Assistance Directorate
- Petru Bejinariu chief of Logistics
- Iordache Olaru chief of Strategic Planning Directorate
- Nicolae Tabarcia chief of Force Operationalisation, Generation and Evaluation Directorate

and the appointment in Brigade General ranks of the following Colonels:
- Dumitru Scarlat deputy chief of Force Operationalisation, Generation and Evaluation Directorate
- Liviu Scarlat deputy commander of Joint Logistic Command
- Ion Ungureanu chief of Intelligence and Military Security Directorate
- Vasile Zete deputy chief of Strategic Planning Directorate.
