Australian Army Commander Visited the Romanian Military in Iraq

The Australian Army Commander, Major General Mark Kelly met today, November 6, the military of the 32nd Infantry Battalion Mircea from Timisoara, deployed in Dracula camp during his visit to the Australian Contingent deployed in Tallil base.

The Romanian Battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Cristian Dinulica, made a short presentation on organization and endowment of the Romanian forces that are deployed in Iraq and on the cooperation with the Australian Battalion.

At his turn, the Australian Army commander, Major General Mark Kelly appreciated the consequence of Romania to participate with professional military effective in the process of reconstruction of Iraq together with the most powerful and democratic states.

At the end, General Kelly stated: It is an honor for me to be among the Romanians. I know the missions you performed every day and I am glad for the understanding among between the forces, based on reciprocity. God guide your steps and together let's bring hope and joy to the Iraqi people!
