State Secretary and chief of Department for Policy of Defense and Planning, Corneliu Dobritoiu met the deputy Defense Minister of Bulgaria, Sonya Yanculova, Thursday, November 8, at the MoD HQ.

The official talks approached the preparation of NATO Summit 2008, PESA dynamics, and participation in international missions (Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, and BIH-EUFOR/ALTHEA).

The two officials also talked on the state of security in the Balkans and the Black Sea region, the regional cooperation initiative and the increase of the Romanian-Bulgarian relations.

Sonya Yanculova was in official visit in Romania invited by the State Secretary and chief of Department for Policy of Defense and Planning, Corneliu Dobritoiu.
