Concerning the allegations the press edited on the internal control made by the Directorate of Prevention and Investigation of Corruption and Frauds on the acquisition of service apartments by its own personnel, the Ministry of Defense makes the following statement:

1 At request of the Anticorruption National Direction (DNA), at the beginning of the year, they started an investigation and till now they checked 160 sale-buying contracts for the service apartments.
2 The result of investigation for all the 160 checked contracts will be send to DNA, the only institution with habilitation to establish whether and how they observed the legality of the sale-buying process and the responsibility for each of the case.

The Ministry of Defense set at DNA's disposal all the documents that are necessary for the investigation and any other requested information.
