The Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu and a military delegation will have an official visit between 14-16 November, in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, invited by the Defense British State Secretary, Des Browne.

The agenda of the NATO Summit to be held in Bucharest next year, the European Policy of Security and Defense (PESA) and the international environment of security are the main issues to be approached by the two officials.

During the talks, they will also focus on the bilateral military cooperation.

Minister Teodor Melescanu will meet the State Minister for Defense Equipment and Support, Baroness Ann Taylor de Bolton and will deliver a lecture at the Royal Institute of Studies of Security and Defense, in London.
