At 6 p.m. about 68% of the Romanian military in the theaters of operations exercised their right to vote in the 18 sections (9 for the European Parliament and 9 for the national Referendum). Till now, 65% of the military voted in Afghanistan, 81% in Iraq and 54% in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

The voting process will be developed according to the decision of the Central Election Office and till now occurred no incidents.

According to the Order of the Defense Minister, the military, the students and the pupils from the military education institutions, soldiers and volunteers, civilian personnel can exercise their right to vote according to the law, in their places of residence or the garrisons they are acting in.
