Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu will have an official visit in the Republic of Albania, between December 6 and 7, invited by his counterpart, Fatmir Mediu.

The bilateral talks in Tirana will be focused on the North Atlantic Alliance evolutions in the perspectives of the next year Bucharest Summit, and the state of security in the South-Eastern Europe.

During the talks they will also approach the cooperation within SEDM and SEEBRIG regional initiatives and the state of Romanian-Albanian military and defense policy relations.

The Romanian delegation headed by Minister Teodor Melescanu will have meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania.
