The Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu, the chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin and chiefs of services will lay Friday, December 21, the wreaths at the Graveyard of Heroes of Revolution at 10.30 a.m. and Troita in Piata Universitatii at 12.15 p.m. during the activities commemorating 18 years since the victory of the Romanian Revolution in December 1989.

On December 21 and 22, at the monuments existing in the military units honoring the heroes of the Revolution will occur the military and religious ceremonies for their commemoration. The MoD sub-units and the military bands will also participate in the commemorations organized by the local authorities.

The program of the activities coordinated by Bucharest Garrison Command will be, thus:
December 21 Graveyard of Heroes of Revolution, 10.30 a.m.;
Crematoriu Cenusa, 11.30 a.m.;
Troita Popesti-Leordeni, 12 p.m.;
Troita Spitalul Coltea, 12. p.m.;
Troita Piata Universitatii, 12.15 a.m.;

Piata Romana, 12.45 p.m.
