Lieutenant General Ph.D. Mihail Orzeata, deputy chief of General Staff and the chief of the Department for Parliament Liaison and Public Information, Major General Ph.D. Teodor Munteanu offered Friday, December 21, the Christmas presents to the children from the Social Center of Sfantul Dimitrie Foundation from Bucharest (strada Matei Basarab, nr.50).

The 64 children of this Center received cloths, boots, writing materials, food and sweets in worth of 41,122 lei.

Three years ago, they established the Committee of Support for Children under the General Staff coordination. The staff working in the central structures of the Ministry of Defense is thus continuing the tradition to freely contribute with symbolic gifts in order to offer these children a moment of joy.
