The Defense Minister, Teodor Melescanu, the Chief of the General Staff, Admiral Gheorghe Marin and other representatives of the MoD leadership, congratulated Friday, December 21, the Romanian military from the theaters of operations.

By video-conference system, the Defense Minister and the Chief of the General Staff transmitted the traditional messages of health, happiness and professional success and wished them to return safe at home, to their relatives.

The MoD leaders were informed by the commanders of the contingents from Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina on the evolution of the state of security in the Romanians' areas of responsibility, on their state of mind and the way they are waiting for Christmas and the New Year.

The military of the 32nd Infantry Battalion sang carols to the MoD leaders and they, at their turn, had a surprise for all the military from the theaters of operations, a short artistic moment delivered by Los Platanos Group.
