An AN 26 military airplane had Monday January 7, a humanitarian mission of transport of two persons assisted by a SMURD team, from Satu Mare to Otopeni military airport. The mission was approved by the MoD leaders at request of Satu Mare County Hospital.

The two persons had severe burns after an explosion to a block of flats in Satu Mare and they have been transported by ambulance to the Plastic Surgery Emergency Hospital in Bucharest.

At SMURD request, a military airplane fulfilled a humanitarian transport mission Sunday night, January 6, from Oradea to Bucharest, transporting a child with serious problems of health.

On January 5, an IAR 330 Puma helicopter of the Romanian Air Force, at request of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of Constanta County, fulfilled from Plopeni to Constanta, a humanitarian mission of transport of an ill man and a pregnant woman.
