The Defense Minister Teodor Melescanu will have Friday, January 11, starting 9 a.m. a meeting at the MoD HQ with Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, the NATO Secretary General, in visit in Bucharest.

The two officials will approach the issues on the future NATO Summit, the MoD contribution in preparation and organization of Bucharest Summit and the Romanian Armed Forces participation in military operations under NATO aegis, especially within the ISAF mission in Afghanistan; at the end of the talks they will have the press statements.
