The Day of Unity of the Romanian Principalities will be celebrated Thursday, January 24, in Bucharest and other big cities by military and religious ceremonies and lays of wreaths.

In Bucharest, a ceremony of lay of wreaths at King Alexandru Ioan Cuza's monument on Dealul Mitopoliei (Metropolitan Church Hill) will start at 11 a.m.

At the National Military Museum Regele Ferdinand I at 1 p.m. will occur the activities dedicated to the 1859 Unity with participation of museographers and representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Culture.
