An An - 26 military airplane fulfilled February 3, in the morning, a humanitarian mission of transport of a child with severe problems of health from Timisoara to Bucharest.

The mission was approved by the MoD leaders at request of the Louis Turcanu Children Emergency Clinic Hospital, Timisoara.

During the flight and transport by ambulance from the airport to the hospital, the child was assisted by a SMURD team from Bucharest.

The airplane belongs to the 90th Otopeni Air Transport Base and the crew was led by Captain-Commander Constantin Nedelcu.
