A PUMA SOCAT helicopter had February 11 a humanitarian mission of transport of a military from Braila to Bucharest. This man, at home, suffered a severe stroke.

The mission was approved by the MoD leaders at the 10th Braila Engineering Battalion's request.

During the mission and transport by ambulance to the Military Central Emergency Carol Davila Hospital, the patient was assisted by a team of two military doctors.

The helicopter was from the 90th Otopeni Air Transport Base and the crew was led by Lieutenant Commander Florin Popescu.
