The troops of the 191st Infantry Battalion Colonel Radu Golescu, from Arad home garrison, completed their Kosovo mission within the Romanian Force National Detachment XV (RoFND XV), Multinational Combat Group West of the NATO-led operation in Kosovo.
The Romanian troops of Arad worked for KFOR for six months and carried out over 2,000 peace-keeping missions: patrolling, traffic control, convoy escort, guard of some important facilities, humanitarian assistance and interventions in special situations.
The troops will return home at the end of this February and the beginning of March.
The Romanian troops carried out missions under Italian command, TASK FORCE AQUILA, based in Villaggio Italia camp, Pec, Kosovo province.
