The Romanian Minister of Defence Teodor Melescanu participated in the Meeting of the defence ministers of countries members in the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) held on Martch 11, in Sofia.

On that occasion, Minister Melescanu spoke about the military reform dynamics, the regional cooperation development and the Euroatlantic integration.

The participant delegations expressed their willingness to improve the regional cooperation mechanisms, and to contribute to the settlement of the regional security and stability. The representatives of SEECP nations also expressed their unanimous support in favour of the Western Balkan countries' integration in the Euroatlantic organizations.
