THE COMMANDER OF THE MULTINATIONAL DIVISION SOUTH EAST IRAQ MET ROMANIAN TROOPS IN TALLIL

The Romanian troops deployed in Iraq, Tallil, Dracula Forward Operational Base met the Commander of the Multinational Division South-East Iraq, Major-General Barney White-Spunner, on March 5. The Commander of the 151st Infantry Battalion Black Wolves, Lieutenant Colonel Dan Cislariu briefed the British General on the unit organisation, the capabilities and equipment, the regional security as well as the missions the Romanian soldiers carry out in Dhi Qar and Al Mutanna provinces. General Spunner pointed out the role played by the Romanian Battalion as a part of the Multinational Brigade South East and stated that the cooperation between the nations contributing to this multinational brigade is more important now when the Iraqi security situation, economy and agriculture improved and the employment percentage increased.
