The Romanian Defence Minister Teodor Melescanu and NATO Assistant Secretary General Claudio Bisognero attended the opening of an exhibition entitled For a Safe Future, on March 17, at the National History Museum.

The exhibition highlights NATO's role in safeguarding security in its area of responsibility considering the current chalanges, and it is one of the events preceding the NATO Summit in Bucharest.

The event was also attended by Jean Francois Bureau, NATO Asistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, State Counselor for security in the Prime Minister's Chancelary as well as by other civilian and military officials.
