The Romanian-Hungarian Joint Peacekeeping Battalion celebrates ten years of existance, on March 20, at 1 pm, in the Cetate barracks in Arad.

The soldiers of this battalion will organize a number of events which will be attended by Romanian and Hungarian military officials and by local authorities.

Following the Romanian Defence Ministry's proposal, the Governments of Romania and Hungary signed the Agreement regarding the establishment of the Romanian-Hungarian Joint Peacekeeping Battalion, in Budapest, on March 20, 1998.
