Second Lieutenant (post-mortem) Ionut Cosmin Sandu, killed in action during his mission in Afghanistan, will be repatriated with a Romanian Air Force aircraft on March 23, around 1 pm.

A military and religious ceremony will be held at the Bobocu Air Base, Buzau county upon the aircraft arrival. The Defence Minister's order regarding the soldier's post-mortem promotion to the rank of Second Lieutenant.

The funarels will take place on March 25, at the Eternitatea Cemetry in Galati.
