Major General Ion Eftimie Sandu, Deputy Chief of the Armaments Department, heading a military delegation will attend the Meeting of the Steering Committee - National Directors for Armaments, taking place in Brussels, on April 8-10.
The meeting - organised by the European Defence Agency - will approach issues such as the European technological and industrial base, the European defence equipment market and the enforcement of the rules regarding the defence procurement system.
The Romanian delegation will inform on the pending official visit of the Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency, Mr. Alexander Weiss, to Romania, planned for the last decade of May.
