The Deputy Chief of the Defence Policy and Planning Department, Rear Admiral Cornel Mihai, and the Director of General Staff, Major General Stefan Oprea, offered gifts to the children of the Central Home of the Sfantul Dimitrie Social Foundation in Bucharest, on April 22, on the occasion of the Orthodox Easter Holiday.

The children were offered clothes, shoes, stationary and food, all from the money collected by free contribution of the military and civilian personnel in the Ministry of Defence.

The Children Helping Committee under the coordination of the Director of General Staff contributed to helping the children assisted by the Central Home of the Sfantul Dimitrie Social Foundation Sfantul Dimitrie, just as they do every year on national religious celebrations.
