A delegation headed by the State Secretary for Defence Policy in the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Serbia, Du¹an Spasojeviae, visited Romania on April 16 and 17 aprilie, at the invitation of the Romanian State Secretary and Chief of the Defence Policy and Planning Department, Corneliu Dobritoiu.

The official talks covered topics of common interest concerning the results of the NATO Summit, the commitments of the North Atlantic Alliance and of the European Union in the Balkans, regional initiatives and security dynamics with a focus on the Balkan and the Black Sea region.

Romania's participation in international operations and the Romanian-Serbian military cooperation were also discussed.

The Serbian delegation had a meeting with the Romanian Defence Minister Teodor Melescanu, with the Chief of General Staff Admiral Gheorghe Marin and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
