The Detachments from the 15th Mechanized Brigade and the 151st Infantry Battalion from Iasi are still continuing, Sunday, July 27, their mission to support the population suffering from calamity. The military are acting with their equipment, boats and life waistcoats in Blagesti, near Pascani, in Barancea near Radauti and in Rachiteni, Iasi County.
The Romanian Air Force helicopters from the 71st Air Base Campia Turzii are transporting the food for the population in need, in Maramures County.
The Emergency Operative Committee established that the Ministry of Defense has to continue to participate in the support of population in the floods affected areas, especially in Pascani and Roman regions and in consolidation of ditches on Siret River.
According to the orders issued by the MoD leaders, the military of the Romanian Armed Forces are acting with their adequate equipment to reduce the effect of floods, at the local and central authorities' request.
