The Romanian Air Force IAR 330 Puma helicopters from the 71st Air Base Campia Turzii continued Monday, July 28 the search and rescue mission and the transport of food for population in the calamity region, Maramures County.
Detachments from the 15th Mechanized Brigade are continuing their mission to support the population in the areas affected by floods.
The military are acting with their equipment and boats in Radauti and Gradistea, to build and consolidate the ditch in Nicolae Balcescu residential district in Roman city.
According to the orders issued by the MoD leaders, the military do intervene with their equipment at request of the central and local authorities to reduce the effect of floods.
